rabid hamster Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I'm overweight.. I still exercise normal and everything but I eat too much food with lots of calories... What can I say? I can't help it. Do you people think it'd be a realistic goal to try to lose at least 30-40 pounds by September? I'd look a lot better that way. rabid hamster Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Geez your Mom must have a lot of will and motivation. I know I'd never be able to lose 10 pounds a week. I remember reading somewhere people who lose more then 3 pounds a week usually end up getting their weight back later anyway. I don't know if it's true. Bon Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 40 lbs in 4 weeks, woah! I'd say 4-5 lbs a week would be max .. It all depends on how much cardio you do though. Eating just fruit and water isn't too healthy It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
YODA Posted April 7, 2002 Author Posted April 7, 2002 Well - a week's hard training mixed with hard playing sees me back to what I was on my 1st post - 13st 4lbs. I reckon I lost fat on my training week though as I definately feel in better shape. Running 5 miles per day for 8 days must have shed some blubber. I swam every day too in addition to 5 hours of martial arts training. Pity I fell foul of a knee injury on the Thurday whilst sparring on the ground - doh! Hopefully I will be able to run again soon. I'm off work all this week - and some major hard work to do around the house & the garden together with eating right & training too should shed a few pounds. Bon Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 YODA, would you be able to tell us what foods you ate ? Whenever I go on a diet I always have to eat things I shouldn't because there's no other choice.
