Jack
I have not heard of this atkins, but I'd say all you need to lose weight is the correct eating plan and exercise routine. Don't worry about all this supplements too much! JackCurrently 'off' from formal MA trainingKarateForums.com
chh
Atkins is the guy with (I think) the original high protein/low carb diet. You can find any amount of scientific evidence both proving and disproving his theories. I'm suspicious of it based on the health of Mr. Atkins himself, have you ever seen him? Yikes--I don't remember anything specifically from the long list of ailments he's dealing with, but he's in pretty poor shape. He says his health problems have nothing to do with the diet, but of course it's impossible to prove that either way.
tigerstyle18
Unlike the rest of you, I plan on going up in body weight. Right now I'm 205 pounds but I work out every day. My weight periodically goes up but my body fat percentage remains relatively the same. However gaining weight in muscle mass takes as much discipline as losing weight in fat. So my challenge will be to gain weight without gaining body fat. When two tigers fight, one dies and the other is mortally wounded.
