gheinisch
OK, Season three started here last night. Great episode. Some things we found out:1. The "Others" apparently have a little utopia on the island. Nice homes, plumbing, appliances, and even a book club.2. Henry's real name is Ben. Call him Benry if you prefer. 3. There is a hatch underwater. It's called the Hydra and is where they are keeping Jack.4. Kate is told by Ben that the next two weeks are going to be very unpleasant.5. The "Others" do see the plane crash. Ben sends Ethan and Goodwin out to the two different groups to collect information. Ben wants a list from each in three days.6. Sawyer may be "Hot" but apparently he is not as smart as the bears the "Others" had. 7. Sawyer and eventually Kate are kept in cages that used to house zoo animals from the looks of them.8. When Kate is brought to the cage next to Sawyer's, her wrist are bleeding from the handcuffs she had on. Zeke comments "they were rough with you".9. The fates of Desmond, Locke, Ecko, and Charlie is not known yet.10. Jack is introduced to Juliette who is also the host of the book club. She seems to be trying to get into Jack's head. I have a feeling she may end up helping Jack. I could be wrong. 11. Jack is being kept at a separate from Sawyer and Kate.12. Juliette's favorite book and the one that the book club is reading is Stephen Kings Carrie.13. The "Others" seem to know everything about Jack. His friends, ex-wife Sarah, death of his father, etc.14. Ben sure seems to be the leader. Everyone does whatever he says without question.I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting. I'll add to the list as I remember. cathal
I don't believe Juliette will help Jack. I think it is an act, and that allowing her to feed him was in fact a mistake. Good escape attempt though. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

gheinisch
Yeah, not sure about Juliette. She just seems very sad at the begining of the show. And her and Ben don't seem to agree on every point. There is some tension there. Jack is a smart guy and he nay be the getting into Juliette's head. I guess we'll have to watch and see. KarateK
Hmmm v interesting. It does seem that a lot of characters/episodes are revolving in some way around Jack? Or is that just me trying to read too much into this!!! Karate Ni Sentinashi

gheinisch
Jack is most certainly an important character. In last nights episode Ben tells him that if he does what they say, then he'll (Ben) personally take Jack home. I think he is going to ask Jack to help one of the "Others" who was shot by Sun last night. Jack can't go home, he's too important. We also found out last night that Kate taste's like strawberries and Sawyer taste's like fish biscuits. gheinisch
Not a bad idea Shotokan-kez. So far this season has answered a few questions but in "LOST" tradition even more questions are revealed. Watching the old episodes may cut down on some of the confusion. I doubt it though. gheinisch
I thought that would get your attention KarateK. Yeap, Sun, Jin and Sayid are on Desmonds sailboat on a rescue mission to save Jack and the gang. They tie the boat to the dock where Michael and Walt left to go home. Sayid has this plan for him and Jin to hide in the woods and what for the "Others" to come. He was going to kill them all but two for interrogation. Sun stays on the boat. Well, the "Others" some how bypass the ambush and get on the boat with Sun. Can't remember her name (Blond curly haired girl) tells Sun that they are not her enemy but if she shoots her then they will be. Sun didn't buy that and shot her right in the gut. The "Others" take the boat and Sun escapes into the water. I have a feeling that this is the lady that Ben may ask Jack to help.As for Kate. Well, Sawyer and her are doing hard labor. Kate is swinging a pick axe and Sawyer is moving the rock. Sawyer can't resist a sweaty Kate and the way she swings that pick axe and rushes over to her and plants a big wet kiss on her. Danny (The "Boss") and the others holler for them to "cut that out" and smack Sawyer up side the head with the butt of a rifle. Sawyer promptly kicks all their butts and takes a rifle away. He has the drop on them right? Wrong! Juliette has a pistol on Kate and tells Sawyer to drop the rifle or she'll kill Kate. He does. As it turns out Sawyer was just testing them to see who had any fight in them. When they are back in the cages Sawyer tells Kate that she tastes like strawberries and Kate tells Sawyer that he tastes like fish biscuits. Sawyer latest nickname for Kate is now "Shortcake".
