Shonuff Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I recently found an old butterfly knife that I aquired a few years ago. Can anyone give me any help on how to do the butterfly knife tricks. The blade I have is dull and I wanted to learn a few tricks, since this has always been my favorite knife and it looks really cool when one is doing it. Id appreciate any help. " Kiss my Converse! "
White Warlock Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 the best tricks are to hold it in the ready position if needed, and in the sheathed position if not. "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro
Jay Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 lol thats like only buy a car you can pushLook on you search engine although i dont knopw of any disaplin that uses the buterfly knives except michalengelo from the ninja turtles lol The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.
White Warlock Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Hmm... maybe i should ask for a clarification. Are you referring to the Chinese butterfly knives (aka: leung ting bart cham dao)?http://www.chinesegifts4u.com/acatalog/brasshandlebutterflyknife.jpgor the Pilippino butterfly knives (aka: balisong)?http://www.genuinetobacco.com/benchmade/31.jpgI assumed the latter when i made my earlier comment, since i can't recall any 'tricks' associated with the former.Oh, and Michealangelo used nunchakus and occasionally tonfas.
