Does the extra hair chaff you? or are you just uncomfortable?

You should use it your advantage for a tournament.

Cultivate it. Dreadlock it. Groom it. Love it. Get all Cousin It and see how many fighters concede.

Okay, don't shave it. It will grow thicker. You could use Nair for men but it might burn your skin. It will keep the hair gone longer as well. Waxing or sugaring as it is called someplaces hurts like hell. :o Think peeling the skin right off your back because it pulls the entire hair out. You will bleed if you do this. It does however last the longest of temporary fixes. The hair also grows back much lighter and finer than before the self-mutilation. How do I know this? I have done all three. My children like me to go swimming with them and I find the back hair embarrassing. :(

Laser removal is the permanent solution but is very expensive.

I read about this thing that using tweezers, you pluck the hair, but when you pluck it, it sends vibrations or something like that and it kills the hair growing thing so it never grows back. Unfortunately, I know pretty much nothing about this.

If you don't like it then remove it.

Go to a salon if you're gonna get waxed, though. They're likely to do a better job of it that you (seen as you've never waxed before...).

If you try Nair/Veet/other hair removal cream then go for the sensitive skin sort. It'll be more kind to your skin on your first attempt.

I'd say go with electrolysis, waxing, sugaring or hair removal cream, rather than shaving. They all last longer than shaving, for a start. Plus the hair isn't as stubbly or thick afterwards.

Personally, I prefer hairless guys to those that look like a gorilla when they take off their shirts. ;) But that's just one womans opinion. If you hate the hair then remove it. If it doesn't bother you then leave it. It's your body - don't get rid of the fuzz just because you think others might prefer it. :)

well I guess I'm going to go and try the nair/veet thing(it sounds the cheapest).Well it's not just others that prefer it , it's also me.To me it's like watching a girl with hairy legs and armpits , just nasty.

Ok, body hair is bad when sparring, well at least in my opinion, although I think the girls that I happened to spar against knew this for a fact and tried to use it against me..... also, grappling, body throws, joint locks of Kuk Sool are very interesting when your partner has a fist full of your chest hair.

Laser removal, I have heard is very painful, imagine a laser beam burning out the hair folicle from underneath your skin.

Shaving is bad, because as the stubble grows back, it is itchy and very uncomfortable (tried it once).

Just sort of have to learn with it I guess.
