tigerclaw2 Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Lack of creativity is a good one, Have you guys been to any of matteras,USSD's clinics? It seems like to me they just shoved people in for money and not caring if you learn anything, what do you guys think?
kungfufist3 Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 It is my understanding that Demasco was a 7th dan when he and Master Mattera left the Villari's org to start the USSD organization. I don't know who (if anyone) promoted him beyond 7th.The Villari's/USSD split was mainly a business decision.I have never worked with Master Demasco, but I have heard that he is an excellent martial artist. He was promoted by grand master Tak Wah Eng in 1995 to 8th degree and mastery level of shaolin black tiger. In 1997 he was promoted by the shaolin temple to 9th.
tigerclaw2 Posted August 22, 2005 Author Posted August 22, 2005 He only has 8 schools left on the east coast.
kungfufist3 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Yes alot of his instructors under him saw the light and went independent and left him. I have a black belt mag from 2000 where he has a 6th don punching in for him. I think he left because I have never heard of a 6th or 7th degree on the east coast with ussd anymore.
tigerclaw2 Posted September 22, 2005 Author Posted September 22, 2005 THATS INTERESTING KUNGFUFIST I have noicedt theres not many high ranging guys on the east coast anymore.
