Adonis Posted October 28, 2005 Author Posted October 28, 2005 Jiu-Jitsu unleashed You can get it at Amazon.com or other places online I believe. One I know of is Amazon though. If you want to order it on line.
BJJ is 1 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Thanks alot, my instructor said that he beat bravo in a competition when they were blue belts but he said that the book claims bravo won. "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard
Adonis Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 Don't know! Who is your instructor. Bravo lost alot of times even he admits it but on his twister DVD he only shows one match where he lost and that was with Javier vasquez. Even though he has admited he lost many times through his ranks. Who is your instructor?
BJJ is 1 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 His name is Jack McVickerI just looked at the book on amazon and will buy it soon. "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard
Adonis Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 Jack is pretty good I heard. I didn't hear about Eddie going against him at all int he book. I guess I would have to go back and look through it. Jack is a good black belt under Megaton.
BJJ is 1 Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Yea, Megaton comes every spring to teach a class and give a siminar, its awsome! "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard
Adonis Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 I trained under one of Megaton Students also for awhile. A guy named Steve Farnworth. Ask Jack if he remembers steve for me next time you get to see him.

Adonis Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 Yeah I know I was about to write you about that. I read the book and it says Jack won that is why I thought it was wierd when you said jack lost. Maybe your instructor miss understood when he read the book or heard it wrong from some one else. Yeah I like the lock down its hard to get old school I think I have problems with it all the time trying to get postioned so I can get to my knees and turn the opponent over. Its good to use it in combination with the plan b. That is starting to work for me. but some times when the put the weight on me and there knees is not up I have a hard time getting both. So I end up playing a waiting game. How long you been training with Jack? Or Jiu-Jitsu?
BJJ is 1 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 It started when I asked my old Karate instructor where I could learn the submissions I saw on the UFC and he told me abot Jack so I went up there and loved BJJ right off the bat so I joined the school, that was about a year ago.How long you been in jiu-jitsu?
