BJJ is 1
I thimk i'm going to get the gracie in action dvds that I saw in grappling mag but i would also like to get a set of abu dabi dvds "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard
Adonis
get the abu dabi dvd's firstthey are better. I baught the first gracie in action. I thought the fights were boring. Modern MMA fights looked better. Only thing I Liked which wasn't that good any way was special or bonus features showing one of Rorians sons fighting by there house some kick boxer guy. His son was 14 I think and the other guy was 16 years old. Just my opinion. I didn't like the Gracie in action dad's.
BJJ is 1
The Abu Dabi dvds looked great, but they were like 80 bucksAbout the kids fighting I read in The Gracie Way that they settled most arguements through fighting "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard

kenpo4life
Nino Schembri was the first person I saw use the gogoplata. Not Bravo If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
BJJ is 1
the same blue belt a used the x guard on got me in a gogoplata I had never seen it before and just kind of let him do it after class he showed me how to do it and defend it so I guess it was kind of a good thing he did it "Without Jiu Jitsu its like without my two legs."-Rickson Graciehttps://www.myspace.com/cobraguard
Adonis
Nino "elvis" schimbri is the one from what I heard who cointed the term gogo plata. only sub eddie bravo really is well known on is the twister which really wasn't picked up in the mass Jiu Jitsu circles until he made it famous by wining matches and tournaments with it. Not that he invted it though. Most of Eddie's stuff comes in how he transition from postions to the subs, how he keeps every thing tight and sets the subs up so well so the persn doesn' thave tomuch time to escape is what I like about bravo's style

Adonis
Twister is a move eddile learned in Wreslting which was called the guiliontine since we already use that word for the frong head lock choke move in jiu-Jitsu Jean Jeac Machado called it the twister. The twister is a head spine lock or neck crank move. where yhour on side control of your opponent but both legs are under your opponents leg and triangle locked around there far leg. you are on your side on the ground and one arm under ther head grasping your other hand and pulling the head up and into your body creating a painful spine lock. Takes awhile to develop the move. Eddie Bravo has used it very sucessfully in competion from blue belt and up and has done well iwth it. Check out his site THETWISTER.TV to see more info onit. NotQuiteDead
Here's a pic of the twister:http://www.bjj.com.au/images/the_twister/thetwister10.jpgIn wrestling, the "guillotine" is used as a pin but Bravo started using it (along with the banana splits) as a submissions. A lot of people think he's some kind of genius but really anyone who has ever wrestled and decided to look for painful moves in wrestling could find those a lot more.http://www.phoenix.k12.ny.us/jcb/sports/wrestling/Here_comes_the_Guillotine.jpg
