Back on the ground, but on the wall, legs spread as far as I can, and I push my knees to the wall. Keeping my feet and toes pointed to me as long as I can for calf stretching. I'll do this for ten minutes (Holding)Then..... I'll do various stretches. I have been doing this for 3 weeks now, and have noticed a big difference. Good luck! Kajukenbopr Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 I try to avoid that specific stretch because the 2 times I tried it I felt like I was about to hurt my calf muscles. also, my knees felt uncomfortable too. <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
orion82698 Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Yeah, it's not a relaxing feeling, but pain is gain. As long as you don't do it incorrectly, I don't see it being a problem. Our masters wife is a professional physical therapist. I have gotten a lot of really good stretching advice from her. I have also learned to tune out pain and exhaustion, from lifting weights. If you tell yourself it's too much, then you'll stop. If you tell yourself there is nothing to it, then you can do it. It's a mental and emotional mind game.But, whatever suites you best. Good luck!
