I stretch every day, except Sunday's.

This is what I do.

Back on the ground, but on the wall, legs spread as far as I can, and I push my knees to the wall. Keeping my feet and toes pointed to me as long as I can for calf stretching. I'll do this for ten minutes (Holding)

Then.....

I'll do various stretches. I have been doing this for 3 weeks now, and have noticed a big difference.

Good luck!

Yeah, it's not a relaxing feeling, but pain is gain. As long as you don't do it incorrectly, I don't see it being a problem. Our masters wife is a professional physical therapist. I have gotten a lot of really good stretching advice from her. I have also learned to tune out pain and exhaustion, from lifting weights. If you tell yourself it's too much, then you'll stop. If you tell yourself there is nothing to it, then you can do it. It's a mental and emotional mind game.

But, whatever suites you best.

Good luck!

I don't know about that pain is gain slogan, because if you ignore that then you migh go past your limit and hurt yourself.

Well, no.... you don't want to injure yourself, but you need to get out of your comfort zone. If you feel you can go a little further, do it. But, tell yourself you can.
