Does anyone have experiance with this style of martial arts? There is a local Dojo that teaches it near me. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks!!!

Hmmmm...... Sogo Bujutsu isn't really a martial art as such but more a classification or concept (where have I heard THAT before!). It refers to classical Japanese arts that have a complete outlook in their training, often including swordsmanship, unarmed methods, archery, horsemanship etc etc.

 

 

 

 

Kind of Yoda. Bushido is an art if you want concepts. Bujutsu may be more of an art.

 

 

I agree with the diff between Budo & Bujutsu (Bushido is a different animal) - the question was about Sogo Bujutsu, which is as I described

Okay, that does make sense. At this dojo when you take their classes they said you learn Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Iaido and Buki Jutsu. I know what all the other ones are but what's Buki Jutsu by the way. Thanks again guys.
