KarateKicked Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 dang those seem pricey too me. i pay 50 a month to train with a brown belt in bjj. he earned it in 3 years of training from a legitmate bjj school too. at the same time the instructor is barely older than i am and it different to me because all my other teachers were double my age. I have trained in TKD and kickboxing for 2 years.looking to learn a new martial art
JWLuiza Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I think in Gracie style, 3 years, you'd be a young/middle blue belt, not even a purple belt....
UseoForce Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I thought the same thing. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
ps1 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Karate KickedWOW!!! Three years to brown? That's crazy fast. Under Pedro Sauer...no way you get there that quickly unless you train 24/7 and are just a total phenom (then only maybe...very maybe...no... probably not even then). Who does he train with? "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
TJS Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Karate kicked-Im assuming the 3 year brown belt would be Hector Munoz? If so then I have heard alot of good things about him, I havent seen him compete much but I have seen some of his fights/grappling matches and he has looked pretty impressive.
