glockmeister Posted July 15, 2005 Author Posted July 15, 2005 FRom what this guy was tleling me it wanst very expensive. As far as their quote about tradition, they are definately not the only people who feel that TMA are out of date when it comes to seld defense. I am gonna check it out next week and I will see. As far as I know Steve Bentz who teaches Systema there is the only person in Pa who is actually certified to teach Systema. This according to the National website, not his. So I don't doubt the credentials. "You know the best thing about pain? It let's you know you're not dead yet!"http://geshmacheyid.forumotion.com/f14-self-defense
Enviroman Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Just remain open and don't fall for any sales pitch. Isn't Red Lion quite a haul from where you live?
glockmeister Posted July 15, 2005 Author Posted July 15, 2005 I am in Mt Joy "You know the best thing about pain? It let's you know you're not dead yet!"http://geshmacheyid.forumotion.com/f14-self-defense
Enviroman Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 About 25 miles (50 mi. round trip 2-3 times a week!) or so is kind of far for me, especially with gas prices the way they are. Go you work in York County or anywhere near Red Lion? Or do you have any particular reason to go to the Red Lion/Airville area on a weekly basis, outside of MA?
glockmeister Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 If its a good enough school, I don't really need more of a reason do I?> "You know the best thing about pain? It let's you know you're not dead yet!"http://geshmacheyid.forumotion.com/f14-self-defense
Enviroman Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 haha, it's obviously your decision. if you can afford the travel time and money, go for it.
