Ryokeen Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I finnaly found a fun hobby that goes with MA.I wanna be a stunt/martial arts person! The only issue is My sensei si getting older and doesn't like to teach MA tricks. So I have to go some where else to get the training. I Thought about gymnastics but they'd prolly have me learn many things I don't want to learn. Any suggestions of good books or something to work with that won't have me run around the barn just to learn one trick. ThanksAaron Needing to focus...

You will get a good grounding in the basics, and get a really good feel for how to control your body in different aerial positions. Then you can adapt it into your MA training. Also, work on your flexibility. The more flexible you are, the easier it will come.If you have a wushu instructor near you, they can help you, or find a decent TKD school that has XMA incorporated. XMA is a training adjunct to any MA put out by Mike Chat, and has a lot of the "stunts" and trick kicks you are looking for.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
