I'm just saying that I'm not particularly good at either. I like to spar in-class though. It is always enjoyable.

I think sparring is easier. Because its easier to practice on your free time. To practice Kata you need a professional sensei.

yea i agree however having a sensai help you with sparring usually makes a difference.
