viskous Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 i finally settled on these free classes they hold at this church cuz im broke........i was wary about it cuz i thought cuz it was free and run primarily out of a church that it would be kinda "soft" or "lazy" but whoa i was drippin sweat, i also thought my first day i'd only get a couple things to practice but i got like 3 blocks 3 kicks and a buunch of stance and commands to remember.......overall im very pleased and excited about the next couple of months.........just thought i'd share ol peace

This sorta parallels to a shaolin type teaching. Church is to Shaolin monastary as you are to monk? Haha well i tried but you shoulda looked into those free church lessons 1st! Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. scad Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 seriously. you have stumbled apon a gold mine. free Tae Kwon DO lessons is insane. if being tought be a korean trained master and free, you and whoever attend that class are the luckiest people on earth. its also funny becuase i take Tae Kwon Do and my masters father is a christian minister. but really, you have found something great. so build a base from that and then seek other training, weither it be Tae Kwon Do or karate. don't just stop there. if you really enjoy it, find a way to continue traing. nomatter what it be, will power and heart produces great things
