Pro Wrestling ....A Sport?

Featured Replies

Just asking...I think it is no diff than watching a martial arts movie. All the fight scenes are choreographed and they place big busted women in the show just to keep some guys attention. Pro wrestling has its place but not on so called sports tv stations

Honor is the most important thing a man has once you lose it it is gone forever

I myself don't think that pro wrestling should be considered a sport but it can be entertaining and funny to watch. :karate:

I also think Pro wrestling is not a sport it is fake

But well some people like it though.

when you do your best it`s going to show.

Yea but they make moves up along as they go. Which means they must have some skills to entertain and keep it fresh. Also look at all those flying moonsaults, and spins. You can't say it isn't entertaining. If you do it for a long time I bet it would drain your strengh too. Some of those guys could probably do good in competitions, like Kurt Angle the undefeated Gold Medalist. But I thought it was better in the mid and early ninties where they had coooler gimmicks, and more cartooney appeal. They had just and righteous characters who foughjt evil ones, and I remember when Hulk used to say Eat your vitimins, say your prayers, study hard, and train.
Pro wrestlers are closer to Brodway then to ESPN. They are performers and entertainers who can lift a lot of weights and pop a lot of steroid pills.

Girls kick butt!

With the crazy storylines and the fighting, it is just a soap opera for dudes! Although not only dudes like it.

KEIBLER. That's all I have to say. That's all I need to say. The rest sucks

It's athletic entertainment.. I don't see why anyone would call it a sport... In sports, isn't there a competition somewhere?
