for all of you judoka out there, who has impressed you the most with how they have brought there judo skills to the mma arena.

how do you feel a matchup between the two would go?

yoshida is bigger and stronger but Karo has definetly been able to use more judo in a mma setting than yoshida.

Yoshida is too big and powerful for Karo. But Karo has the edge in that he has been able to make his judo work better in the UFC then Yoshida has in pride. Keep in mind that the judo they do at the Hayastan dojo is more for MMA then for judo competition. Also in my opinion PRIDE has superior fighters then the UFC does so this may be why Yoshida has a tougher time using his judo with greater success.
