Fist of Legend is a remake of The Chinese Connection. I like both films for different reasons, but they are very similar.

The Big Boss is the original Chinese title of Fists of Fury. Fists of Fury was the original Chinese title of The Chinese Connection. You simply saw the American version of the film.

the difference between those two is that bruce lee's Fist of Fury is set in 1920's. and Jet Li's Fist of Legend is set in 1945.
