Bruce WillPete7 Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I just saw Fist of Legend about a month ago and thought it was pretty uncanny how its plot and how Jet Li (besides being the main characters) was very similar to Bruce Lee and Fists of Fury. For example the whole poisoning of his master, same in both movies, Jet and Lee going over to Japanese dojos and kicking butt, and of course the retreat into wilderness where both characters had females accompany them in these scenes. I would research but im too lazy and i think the info i get here will be more valuable. Please feel free to state your opinion/facts on this topic. TYP.S. the titles are similar too ^_^ Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. kzshin Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Chinese name of movie "Fist of Fury" is Jin Wu MunChinese name of movie "Fist of legend" is Shin Jin Wu Mun, and shin means new, which pretty much tell you it's a remake. (If you know how to read chinese)They are acutally based on the same story, same character, however with a bit of twist to differentiate from each other. Just for your info, Jet Li is filming a new movie, and its about the story of that teacher who got posioned.

kchenault Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Fist of Legend is a remake of The Chinese Connection. I like both films for different reasons, but they are very similar. Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!
