AnonymousOne Posted February 27, 2002 Posted February 27, 2002 Dont eat what you KNOW you shouldnt eat and exercise like crazy Keep your calorie intake between 700-1000 per day. 7th Dan ChidokaiA true combat warrior has to be hard as nails in mind, body and soul. YODA Posted February 27, 2002 Posted February 27, 2002 Drink plenty of water Take a good quality multivitamin & mineral daily Get plenty of sleep. Eat a high protein diet - get most of your carbs from veg & a little fruit. Minimise complex carbs. Eat at least 1200 calories per day but not more than 1600 Weight train to maintain lean body mass - a general full body workout, moderate weigth & reps (10-12reps). Consider taking L-Glutamine to help prevent muscle atrophy. Use a combination of aerobic endurance work (20-40min) and high intensity interval sessions (Sprints, stair runs etc). 20lbs is optimistic in 4 weeks - depends on how lean you are now. 15 is a viable goal I'd say. You could just train like a galley slave & east like a mouse but I'm guessing you'd still like to be in a fit state to perform on 25th March. _________________ YODA 2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima Instructor : JKD Concepts http://www.jkdc.co.uk / http://www.docepares.co.uk [ This Message was edited by: YODA on 2002-02-27 16:54 ] YODA2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima https://www.docepares.co.ukQualified Instructor : JKD Concepts https://www.jkdc.co.ukQualified Fitness Instructor (Weights, CV, Circuit, Kinesiology)
KickChick Posted February 27, 2002 Posted February 27, 2002 Hey Yoda ... you took the words right out of my mouth! Excellant advice!
Bon Posted February 28, 2002 Posted February 28, 2002 You should do your cardio work before breakfest, that way you're cutting into the fat deposits for fuel and lose more weight than any other time during the day. It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
