Kajukenbopr Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 wont the bike further the damage if its a serious injury? <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
Menjo Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 I thought that also, but aparently compared to running which puts 3-4 times your own weight on your knees, bicycling has pretty much no impact so it just helps the muscle around the knee instead of hurting the bone. Just something I heard so good chance its wrong but just thought id bring it up.(it doesnt work if the knee is worn out or cartliage damage only if certain parts of the knee need recovery). Menjo Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 But yes a serious injury shouldn't have any stress on it, and lots of rest and therapy. "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
