And seeing what another persons workouts are like really helps to put myine in persective .Yes I run daily either in an aerobic or anaerobic fashion. Running is an important part of my training. On one day I will do aerobic running and finish with some light sprints and the next day I will do interval training.. that is, hard out sprints with rest inbetween. I follow a similar training schedule to professional boxers. Of course modified to meet he needs of Karate. I feel these schedules have a lot to offer any fighter. 7th Dan ChidokaiA true combat warrior has to be hard as nails in mind, body and soul. Warriors are action takers and not action fakers. CloudDragon
In my school, when we have a busy class schedule, we do a 3 minute warmup. The instructor will use a boxing ring timer, and it goes like this:100 jumping jacks50 pushups50 leg liftsWe finish with about 5 minutes of stretching and then basic punches, kicks and blocks. It is a total of about 13 minutes and the class is ready for anything we need to do. A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!
