You seem to run very often . And at a pretty good clip too . I plan on adding that a little later in my progess .

Morning workout

pull ups - 18 (as many as I could hammer out in one rep )

body weight squats - 364 ( as many as I could hammer out in one rep )

divebomber pushups 94 (starting to get tuckered out )

plank - not very long -need to work on that one

lunges -100

lie on floor and question why I just did that - about three min

various crunch combos 200 in all

Yoga and stretching

The plan for tonight is to get back into some basic movement and kata . Has to be lowwer intensity to start as per doctors orders.

As for how long :-? :-? :-?

Its been 4 weeks tomorrow since the back surgery and things are going great :D

Thanks for bearing with me AO :D it really does help !! If you are so inclined it would be great if we could keep this up for a bit . Feel free to add your opinions on the work that I do there may be things that I am omitting or whatever . And seeing what another persons workouts are like really helps to put myine in persective .

Yes I run daily either in an aerobic or anaerobic fashion. Running is an important part of my training.

On one day I will do aerobic running and finish with some light sprints and the next day I will do interval training.. that is, hard out sprints with rest inbetween.

I follow a similar training schedule to professional boxers. Of course modified to meet he needs of Karate.

I feel these schedules have a lot to offer any fighter.

In my school, when we have a busy class schedule, we do a 3 minute warmup. The instructor will use a boxing ring timer, and it goes like this:

100 jumping jacks

50 pushups

50 leg lifts

We finish with about 5 minutes of stretching and then basic punches, kicks and blocks. It is a total of about 13 minutes and the class is ready for anything we need to do.
