CapitalKarate
Ok, nevermind on the more info thing. I just went onto the HQ website and the head instructor said (in order to promote his tapes) that his tapes are so effective, even without a training partner that the results are comparable to training multiple times in a school with a certified instructor. So, I won't be interested in this. The chin'na influence had me quite interested for a while, but once I saw this I decided, no way. I'll stick with the real deal. John Bishop
The Shaolin Kempo of Fred Villari is essentially kajukenbo up until the 2nd dan level. Villari was a student of Nick Cerio( who was a student of George Pesare?). I have the DVDs of Shaolin Kempo seen advertised in Black Belt magazine... It's not my cup of tea, although I wouldn't say that some could not get something out of the system and even enjoy it.Not quite true. I've seen the Shaolin Kempo curriculum, and out of the complete requirements for 1st degree black belt, I only recognized 1 technique that resembled a Kajukenbo "Original Method" technique. Adonis
I trained in it. I like how they at least recognize the idea of striking and stand up and ground grappling ranges. I just don't care for how they excute moves or particular moves they use to get to it. Let me k now how the MMA school goesfor you.
