mikaveli Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Because I'm at college full time, I don't get that much time to train (I also selfishly want a social life ) so I was wondering how much time other people spent training each week?I train in class for 2 hours, three times a week. Plus I train at home roughly 8 hours each week on average. Coming to a grand total of 14 hours, not including more general fitness training such as running, cycyling and weights etc...What about you lot? The more I train, the more I see the errors in my technique
italian_guy Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I train about 7 hours a week in my MA classes (karate and JKD) not much time to train at home (but sometimes I do some little training).
karatekid1975 Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I train three hours in the dojang a week. I assist in two classes, and I regularly try to train at home (lately I've been training a lot at home). Probably 4 hours a week at home ... somewhere around there. Laurie F
GhostlySykanRyu Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Do you consider physical conditioning aside from strictly MA training to be MA trraining? karategirl06 Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I train about 4 hours a day. That includes teaching 2 classes and taking 2 classes. I train more at home about 1-2 hours a day. I only train this much b.c my passion is karate. Determination + Disciplin + Strength - Fear = ONE BLACK BELT! Do the Math!join this site!!http://www.getphpbb.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=senterforge
Mr. Mike Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 typically a few hours every day, but I spend about twice that at the school due to my duties. I feels like I live there. When a man's fortunate time comes, he meets a good friend; When a man has lost his luck, he meets a beautiful woman.-anonymous

Mu Ryuk Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 15-20 hours of class a week. I didn't count the time spent before/between/after classes, but that probably amounts to another four hours a week or so. Passion transcends pain.
ninjanurse Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Right now....nada! However, when I am healthy I train daily for 1-2 hours at home and attend classes 4-5 times weekly.
