swooshfinn, you named some old tunes (you are making me feel old LOL). Cool. I'm also into the classics, not just hard stuff. I like most of those tunes. Authority Song rocks :) I played that with one of my previous bands when I played drums ;)

And of course, ol' skool Metallica :D I love sparring to Metallica hehehehehe

Yeah, well I'm not that old (26) but I apprecciate the pioneers of rock and roll and respect what they actually did for music. Also like some of the cutting edge techno/dance/trance stuff that is out there by my listing of Darude, Robert Miles, and The Crystal Method.

I just find that some of the classic rock works really well to help pump me up and keep me motivated, besides, it doesn't get as old to hear the classics over and over again as compared to some of the top 40 stuff that is out there now.

I usually listen to stuff like Rammstein when I'm running etc, but for weights I usually listen to radiohead or audioslave. I guess I just got really used to listening to radiohead when I was tired after training on the drive home, and it helps me relax.
