BritNoob
When I'm performing certain exercises (bent over rows, press ups, or even general movement sometimes) I get a painless click in my shoulder and occasionally the elbow too.Is this a warning sign I'm doing something wrong? My knees have both clicked for years with no injury (and they click/pop much louder) but I'm a little more concerned about the shoulders as they're apparently easy to injure aren't they?Anyone else experience pain-free clicking or crunching? Zanejin
I usually experience clicking in my fingers, wrists, and neck when I do warmups. I think it's something that's completely natural -- it means that your joints are loosening and getting ready to work.
BritNoob
I think I notice the clicking more when i exercise at home, which leads me to believe that the more warmed up you are the less clicking there is (I don't have any cardio equipment at home so warming up for 5 minutes can be difficult).I think when I'm at the gym there is less clicking...I'll have to check next time I'm working out. greenbelt_girl15
I have clicking in my right sholder, elbows, knees and hips.I think that it's fairly normal. It could mean that your joints are just a bit looser than most people. cross
Noises can be found in perfectly normal joints, so cracking and popping noises doesnt automatically mean something is wrong. If you notice discomfort, swelling or limitation in function or motion then you should consult a doctor.
Mr Pockets
If it's what I think it is- your joints just have small bumps in them (perfectly normal) and eventually that will go away (wears them down- like breaking in an engine.)
