SanShou Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Ok I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but I've heard that a certain type of pushup or something like a pushup works your triceps... when I do pushups I can just feel it in my chest muscles. Any ideas?
ysc87 Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 think muscle-wise... since triceps are used when extending, just flip around on your back and do dips.
SanShou Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 That hurts my shoulders- i dont think i do them right
Armbar Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Try this:Get into normal push-up position hands shoulder width apart. Now, bring both hands closer together and form a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers. Now push up from this position. I find it hits my Triceps alot more, and challenges my arm muscles. Jerry Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Pushups generally work more on the chest and biceps. Flip the picture upside down and see yourself doing a bench press.
