Do you always wear bag gloves and/or hand wraps when working the heavy bag?

I didn't previously, but I do now. I punch the bag ALOT more now though, then I did previously. I literally throw thousands of punches a week, so I figure better safe than sorry. Also, when you step in the ring, you wear wraps and gloves anyway, so it's keeping you used to it.

For the most part I do- but I'm doing 8-12 bag rounds four days a week. If I'm just working combinations, I won't wear gloves. Unless I've beaten my knuckles raw even through wraps and gloves. =:-}

I wear them most of the time. If i want to work on the specifics of a technique i wont use gloves, but when im really going for it on the bag i use gloves.

Never. Unfortunately, where I'm at now, I don't have a bag setup or anyway to do it.

I don't box, I train in karate, so I'm prepping myself for an 'in case' and I'm not gonna have time to whip out my 180 inch wraps and brace up my wrists. I train for my purpose, not for boxing, so no gloves for me

We wear gloves not so we can be boxers, its to help prevent injuries that will stop us from training.
