united fighting system's martial arts video reviews - http://home.att.net/~erik.mann/mavr.htm , great reviews on many different martial arts videos. i think they are number 1 for video review websites.

Hello Quiet Dragon,

 

Do you mean Shotokan? If so, I believe that they don't practice weapon's until many years of training with their empty hand katas. I believe the JKA organization has 26 katas that they learn. Some of the shotokan guys and gals may be able to answer you better. Is there a specific weapons kata that you are looking for?
