I've thought about this for a while.Do any of u people think that putting on wrist weights and ankle weights during training at home or at the dojo will help increase my speed and power of my punches and kicks?I know that boxers train with heavy gloves and it helps but wut about the ankle weight idea? And is there any risk in doing so?

Any kind of load while training is good, as long as it is safe.

I tried ankle and wrist weights years ago but it put undo stress on my knees and elbow's.

Today I use normal weights

I wear ankle weights all of the time, except at the dojo. It really does help (I feel) with my energy and endurance. I would never kick with the things on though.

I use mine when performing slow, controlled movements (no full speed kicks or snap movements). It does help with muscle endurance and a little speed (at least for the first few reps after i remove them), but something that I've noticed while doing it now for many months. It tends to build tension into all of my movements. Seems to be a double edged sword, hehe, as the tension added to your movements will hurt your speed.

it can potentially weakens your joints, and the damage could be permanent.

I havent done it, but I know people definitely do not recommend it if you are still growing.
