Thaegen
I don't know how you call it in english.. in dutch it is called a krachtbal. It's a ball of 5kg and I am training with it for a month now and it is amazing. You can train so much with it. We only throw it with keeping our elbows narrow. I love that ball!Other fans of the heavy ball ?

vertigo
Hmm.. a medicine ball. Yeah, I imagine that would be a nice training tool. The only time I've ever used it was in passing drills during high school basketball, but I can see how it would help give you more speed and power in karate (or any other MA).
