BlueDragon Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 Heh ZR440 What are you talking about? Blake, Foote, Niedermayer, Pronger, Brewer, Jovanowski and MacInnis. Can you think of a better group of D. As for Russia there 180 pound weaklings are fast and can skate but Canada can skate and hit. Besides any team that allows 4 goals against Belarus doesn't have a chance against Canada. As for Canada not winning Gold since 52 it's because up until 98 Canada's and the States' best players were not allowed to participate while the Russian's were. Kickbutt Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 That's right BlueDragon, I forgot about that...we haven't had our best players and still, we did very well! ZR440, we don't need luck honey...never have...we have talent and lots of it... Lori If you think something small cannot make a difference - try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.-Unknown-

ramcalgary Posted February 16, 2002 Posted February 16, 2002 Canada can still win the gold the knock out tourny begins after three games. The US looked great against Finland though. Dont you love the "live" NBC coverage.nothing like tape delaying everything thank god in Canada we get CBC coverage of real live broadcasts. Honor is the most important thing a man has once you lose it it is gone forever

ZR440 Posted February 21, 2002 Posted February 21, 2002 The big matchups are now upon us. Canada vs USA in womens hockey, and most likely the same in mens hockey unless Russia beats USA on Friday. Place your bets. Yzerman. He comes off of knee surgery a few weeks ago and has a big game last night. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.
Ryukyu1 Posted February 21, 2002 Posted February 21, 2002 Mabye the Canadian womens team should replace the men out on the ice!!!!
