PhDPeddler
I think but not sure I have torn my rotator cuff. What type of training can a person do to help with this problem. Thanks Peddler.
SaiFightsMS
Only rehab exercises designed for your by a physical therapist. Continuing to use a torn rotator cuff just prolongs the process and makes things worse.
Red J
Exactly. I just got over this injury and because I did the exercises and took it easy on the pushups and the grappling, I was able to continue to train. It took about six months to get it back to where it was before I injured it (full range of motion). Funny thing, I don't know when it happened, it just showed up. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
SaiFightsMS
I knew when mine went. And I never did get full range of motion back.
swdw
I knew when mine went. And I never did get full range of motion back. Find an active release therapist and continue the rotator cuff exercises. The break up of the adhesions will help restore the range of motion. For PhDPeddler- listen to saiFight about therapy. Also know that once you injure the rotator cuff, it usually involves ligament damage, so you will ALWAYS need to continue with the exercises to prevent a re-injury (you too Red J).
