Well, I started because my cousin did it, too. I keep going because it's great fun (all of the Dutch aikijutsuka's are one tight group). We also have plenty of room for perfecting techniques... Too bad our O-Sensei keeps changing them :roll:

Why would your sensei keep changing techniques? Wouldn't that be counterproductive?

I also have fun doing karate and Tai chi chuan.

 

I have fun and I like to see all that visible improvement that martial art is doing to my body.

 

About you (who started this thread... I forgot) I think you should ask yourself what you were expecting when you started and if your expectation has been meet... maybe it's not you maybe is the style or the school that make you feel unconfortable.

I do it, because when I am attacked I want to defend myself at the best of my abilities.
