krzychicano Posted February 21, 2005 Author Posted February 21, 2005 That sounds like an awesome test. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
taiji fajin Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Long staff (8-9') or middle staff (5-6')? That sounds like a nice spread of different weapons. I'm looking forward to the rope, it seems different enough from most of the others I know (staff [long, medium, short], sword, throwing knife, jool bohng) that is should be very interesting to learn. Besides teaching you how to use the rope as a weapon, are there any "new" joint locks with it? Fetch Daddy's blue fright wig! I must be handsome when I unleash my rage.
SBN Doug Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 6' staff. No new locks. Just lots of trapping and chocking, and HOG TIEING! Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
krzychicano Posted February 22, 2005 Author Posted February 22, 2005 Does it hurt sometimes when someone else does it to you because they dont do it properly? What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
SBN Doug Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 It hurts either way...that's the point, right? Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
krzychicano Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 hahaha only if you get to do it back! What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
