ShotokanKid
Somebody told me that chewing gum can give you heart disease. Can somebody explain this to me? June1
Doubt it. Chewing gum can give you headaches, though, because of the repetitive chewing motion. Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! senna_trem
I did a google search and the best it came up with was that peridontal disease is linked to heart disease. It also came up with a lot of hits for cigarette-replacing chewing gum. "I think therefore I am" Rene Descartes

AngelaG
Sugar-free chewing gum is good for your teeth, because it releases spittle which has natural antibodies in it to kill all the bugs. However because of the sweeteners if you have too much it can also give you diarrhoea - neither of which is heart disease.
