SaiFightsMS
I have a very poor metabolism and sometimes my system just doesn't break things down like it is supposed to. So I pretty much just use a multi vitamin. I generally get either a powder of a chewable. I have to take enough presctiption meds to rattle with out adding a lot of other pills to the load. I do like to add an easy to digest form of a liquid protein though.

KickChick
OK ..... what does KickChick do to stay healthy??? Besides eating a very healthy diet ... I also take a vitamin/mineral supplement with phytonutrients, due to my sluggish metabo I jump start it with a metabo blend of guarana, ma huang, bee pollen and siberian ginseng, ginger root for digestion, evening primrose oil (for PMS) ... and just recently glucosamine/chondrotin and additional Vitamin C for joints/flexibility. When I fail to ingest the proper amount of protein in my diet, I'll grab a protein bar (about 25 mg. protein)
YODA
Hey KickCkick - if you took half an asprin with that guarana & ma huang mix you'd kick it up another notch I tried the Glucosamine/Chondroitin mix a while back and didn;t notice any difference from just the Glucosamine on it's own. _________________ YODA 2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima Instructor : JKD Concepts http://www.jkdc.co.uk / http://www.docepares.co.uk [ This Message was edited by: YODA on 2002-01-29 14:25 ] YODA2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima https://www.docepares.co.ukQualified Instructor : JKD Concepts https://www.jkdc.co.ukQualified Fitness Instructor (Weights, CV, Circuit, Kinesiology)

YODA
..... Ever heard of the ECA stack? Ephedrine/Caffeine/Asprin? Your Ma Huang is the Ephedrine Your guarana is the Caffeine All you need is the Asprin. If you like herbal equivalents (Looks like you do) then try Willow Bark Extract instead of Asprin. Iron Arahat
The ECA stack is dangerous, whether it is from natural herbs or extracts. Above 5mg of ephedrine poses some serious health risks. Taking ECA with a heart condition is asking for trouble. Creatine is good for vegitarians as they have no natural source of Creatine --- as it comes from red meat. Monitor your protien intake...you can eat too much in which case you will have some expensive feces. As well as your kidneys will be overloaded. Just my 10 cents.... KickChick
Quote "I'm all for kicking things up another notch so I'll give it a go! I'll try anything once....and if I like....I'll try it again!!!" Not when it comes to my health & well being ... please don't take me seriously on this .. I do have a minor heart condition so I do have to be careful. What I take now is fine ... yes, stacking is dangerous ... and the crashing is the worse I am told!
