Worst injury during a tournament?

well, personally I've only been to a couple really , but never sustained any notable injuries other than a bruise or two. Training for tournaments however is another story... :lol:

 

I broke my big toe during sparring training for a tournament about 2 months ago, and it's just now getting back to status quo..

I've been lucky enough to never sustain any real injuries while doing MA. (knock on wood, no evil eye, whatever) A guy on our univeristy team got his nose broken on Saturday though. Not the worst I've seen, but the worst is a loooooong story I don't have time to type right now.

I've broken toes numerous times when it's been cold outside, and our mat is a bit cold, and ya can't feel your toes, and take note that i'm a bouncy fighter. Well, being a bouncy fighter has tons of advantages, but not when you can't feel your toes and you turn around and your toes catch the mat..now everytime I walk my toes go "crack" "crack" "crack".

I broke my big toe late nov in my first tourny. hoping to go back to class next thursday but ill see if my toe is up to it as its been hurting abit still.
