SevenStar
my initial guess would be that you lost the fat, but replaced it with muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat, so you may have only added a slight bit of muscle and it was enough to equal out what you weight originally. krzychicano
I would agree with seven on this. I had a personal trainer and I experienced the same thing but I was toner. I wouldn't worry about the weight. If you keep doing what you are doing right now the weight wont matter because like you said you see the difference. I have seen overweight people that weigh 250 and I have seen a person that is ripped and bulging out and looks to weigh 250 but only weighs 200. Mike tyson is a good example he was huge and ripped and he was around 200 pounds. June1
I've been told I have really heavy bones. That may be part of what's causing your weight to stay the same. When I started karate, I had a bit of flab here and there. I weighed 125 lbs then. 4 months later, I'm more toned, but I weigh the same. I now think it's the muscle keeping me there, thanks to you guys. But I really don't care how much I weigh. I'd just like to be more toned and healthy. Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! June1
I definitely will! There's nothing better than a good, hard karate (or general MA) class to make you feel better in every aspect.
