Nick_UKWC
I need to add some bulk and this seems about the only way to do it, does anyone have any suggestions as to a good brand? I'm open to any other suggestions about gaining mass, but bare in mind I have about 10 minutes in the morning and lunch would require making it at home and bringing it with me. Facilities here at work are a microwave and fridge lol "...or maybe you are carrying a large vicious dog in your pocket." -Scottnshelly

SevenStar
for lunch, don't forget canned fish. keep a can opener at your job and stock up on fish and salmon. tuna is usually dirt cheap and it's packed with protein. For shakes, I've used several, but don't really have a specific brand reccomendation. Things like that can get hairy anyway, as different individuals respond differently to different products. SevenStar
Also, there's nothing wrong with making lunch at home. Set aside some time the night before to prepare something, that way you're not pressed for time in the morning.
Nick_UKWC
Thanks 7* I'm not really sure what's best in terms of Diet, guess I'll have to do what I did for excersise - a lot of reading. Is there something like 'Scrappers Gym' for diet? "...or maybe you are carrying a large vicious dog in your pocket." -Scottnshelly

Taku-Shimazu
Why do you need protein supplements? What is wrong with average food? I do not understand why people need / use all these supplements, Why can't they just eat? I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with them or anything along those lines its just why? The cool summer breeze passes me by.
daeinwolf
Because some of us live on the go and cannot always cook prepare food. During those times, protein shakes are great. And to answer your question: Post workout you are going to need a fast-absorbing protein about 15-20 minutes after you finish up. Your best bet is whey protein mixed with juice. Whey can be digested in roughly 15-20 minutes. I like getting vanilla and mixing it with orange juice, it tastes like orange sherbet. The reason for the juice is that the simple sugars help transport the protein into the muscles for synthesis. For bed time or other times that you will need protein that takes longer to digest , you need to have a micellar-casein protein. This type of protein digests over a 4-6 hour period (approx). As for brands: Whey- Optimum Nutrition Casein- Muscle Milk Two great products. SiK---Joshua There are no limits.

Nothing wrong with 'food' it's just that I don't know much about diet and I don't have much time nor facilities, this seemed like a good way to help myself that fits with my lifestyle. Thanks for the information Joshua. "...or maybe you are carrying a large vicious dog in your pocket." -Scottnshelly
