koryu
Suparinpei was definately my most favorite kata to perform at tournaments when I was competing. I've also picked up Hakutsuru recently, which I could also see being a very good tournament kata, although I don't compete anymore. cathal
A lot of these kata I've never heard of. Anyone have links to a diagram/video? .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

I still however run seiyuchin and sepai if i feel i can win with them. I run shorin-ryu katas. sabro
I Usually use Wansu. Three competitions in a row, I tied someone and had to use another Kata for the tie-breaker...which I was never prepared for, so I use Ana ku for that. I should have Empi sho ready soon and I am told that Nahanshi is not a tournament Kata. I would like to learn pinon and san chin.
