Maddwraph Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 if you do sometyhing like crunches (feet up in air style) on your bed, is it bad for you?is it more affective to do these exercises on the floor (or by floor a very thin matt on the ground) oh and by the way, does anyone know the best type of foods such as fuits for your abs? like maybe pineapple or something, some suggestions would help. thanks a lot Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
Jerry Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 I would reckon that doing crunches on the floor or training mat would be more effective, because on your bed you loose too much of the other muscle workout due to the bed being soft and giving way when you do your actual crunch. Fruits I'm not too sure off. I just work my abs and have a general intake of mainly green apples and other fruit. Enjoy! Nick_UKWC Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I don't have enough room to do them on the floor either I have to say, if I do the same routine on the floor as I normally have to do on my bed it's harder work. "...or maybe you are carrying a large vicious dog in your pocket." -Scottnshelly
Straight Blast Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Find some room somewhere else then xP The Bed Isnt going to give you much results if your springing off of it instead of using your muscles.

Red J Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Bed exercises? This is a family forum. I'll agree with the other posters. Beds are probably a little too soft. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.

Hudson Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Or go outside. Too cold/snowing/raining/cats/dogs/fire/brimstone? You could try going to a gym or another room. Surely there has to be some place in your residence big enough to exercise. The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move.
