:eek: I found out something rather interesting today....

 

If you punch someone, it is considered assault and battery, but if you kick someone, you can be charged with assault with a deadly weapon!!!

 

Can u believe that?

Kicking or punching someone is only considered bad when you initiate the attack. If they try to hit you you are allowed to use as much force as nessecary to overcome your opponent. If you use excess force you are again outside of the law and you are no longer a true practitioner of the martial arts. A true martial artist only uses the absoulute minimum when defending himself/herself. You do not need to prove to your opponent that you are lethal only that they should not mess with you. :karate:
