if you are using a curling bar, try a different grip on it. either go inside grip if u are using outside. or outside if you are using inside.. if u are using a straight bar switch up the grip or use less weight until your wrist and forearms can handle it...

The weight you are picking up is too heavy and you are straining the muscles etc. Try lighter weights or a different excercise for your forearms.

It may be that you're doing the exercise incorrectly. The position your arm is in might be awkward, which leads to the popping noise.

Rest for a few days then try again with lighter weights. If possible, get someone to watch you and critique your technique.
