RumS12 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 help, when i perferm reverse bicep curls to work out my forearms i get this odd popping noise and a pain in the forearm. so if anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix it thanks
jctkd Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 if you are using a curling bar, try a different grip on it. either go inside grip if u are using outside. or outside if you are using inside.. if u are using a straight bar switch up the grip or use less weight until your wrist and forearms can handle it...
Jerry Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 The weight you are picking up is too heavy and you are straining the muscles etc. Try lighter weights or a different excercise for your forearms. June1 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 It may be that you're doing the exercise incorrectly. The position your arm is in might be awkward, which leads to the popping noise. aefibird Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Rest for a few days then try again with lighter weights. If possible, get someone to watch you and critique your technique.
