delta_storm2152 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Hello all. Well this is sort of odd. I'm new to the forum. But not really. I've basicaly been readin teh forum for ags and jsut never bothered registering. I think it's time. Anywho. As my first post I was wondering if anyone here has any tips to keeping up handstands. I can get up and even walk around for a while, but I have a hard time staying still and holding the handstand more than 4 or 5 seconds. When I'm moving i can usually walk for 7 or 8 meters before I fall, but I'd like to increase that too. It sounds like a strange thing to learn, but I want to be able to expand my co-ordination and abilities, for the satisfaction, and for the possibilities for exercises. Oh and I find it fun too. Haha. After this I'm going to try to learn backflips Break the bones and the body will heal, break the spirit and te body will die
Hudson Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Try em close to a wall so you can just lean into the wall when you're about to fall. And uh, practice practice practice. Handstands are well worth it once you can do handstand pushups. The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move.
