This is my first post so I'd like to say hi to everybody. I think its great to have forums like this, I'm sure I will learn a lot here. I just began to study Isshinryu about a month and a half ago. I find it very interesting. A lot of what I learn, especially the self defense portion of class seems like it would be very usefull in a real life situation. There are a few techniques that I've learned that I don't think I'd ever try on the streets if I had to defend myself. Some stuff is just to awkward and slow. I was hoping that some of you guys might have more insight in to my style and might be able to touch on some to strong and weak points of it. Thanks everyone.
