jmmarich Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Greets all. I have been thinking of attempting some form of Karate for quite a while now. When I was 10 or 11, I did some Karate (can't remember what type) and quit right before testing for green. Its something I have regretted ever since. Last year I got out of the Marine Corps courtesy of a bad disc in my back and unfortunatly used that as an excuse to totally slouch on all real physical activities I.E. I have become one lazy freak. I started searching for all the local places to start and found that the World Oyama Karate is strongly present in my area. I have read quite a bit about it and it is really geared for my personality and what I want to get out of it. So wish me luck, I am headed there tomorrow to watch a class, and then hopefully if I am still interested, I will try and push myself to learn. Well, thats all Thanks for reading. --Josh
