SevenStar Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 like we said - cardio. you have to burn off the fat that covers your abs. crunches alone will not do it, as crunches are not aerobic. anyonw who tells you they are really doesn't know what they are talking about. Crunches will make your abs hard, but you won't see them until you geet rid of the fat. that's where diet and cardio come into play.
Bleeding Lion Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 First things first: you will NOT have a 6 pack without efforts. i feel like thats the message conveyed by those gadgets. it wont be easy, even though good genes might make it slightly less difficult. diet is the most important piece of the puzzle. do a lot of cardio, 100 crunches a day, it wont do much if you eat like a pig. so clean that up first. good luck. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence thus, is not an act, but a habit. --- Aristotle
SevenStar Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I agree. that's the message they convey because that's what the general public wants to hear. They technically aren't lying, however. strengthening the abs is easy. It's losing the fat round them that takes all the hard work. Their product isn't geared toward that though, so naturally, they don't focus on it.
