Rich67
There are so many contraptions out there that allege to build abs. Everyone wants that "six pack" look, and they think it can be achieved by doing massive amounts of crunches and buying all the devices they see on late-nite ad TV. We gotta stop this madness. We all have abs. We all have a "six pack" to a degree. The reason many can't see them is because their bodyfat levels are too high! And what is the only way to get your bodyfat levels down to see your abs? Diet and cardio work! That's it....mystery solved. Ab Cruncher 2000 and 15 minute abs are marketing scams. They lead people to believe by buying their video or wierd contraption they can look like the models on the advertisements. NOT!! I should know- I was suckered into the Ab Roller and a video abs-only workout. For a year I used these things with NO RESULTS. Ok, maybe not true- my abs did feel a little harder- but I still didn't have a six pack!! I started a routine of cardio and hanging leg raises- NO CRUNCHES or other ab exercises- and in 3 months I had a "four pack". I'm still going strong, and although I can't seem to coax out the last two pack, I have to laugh at these other programs and devices people are selling. They are a waste of money. Do your cardio 4-5 times a week, and do hanging leg raises. Invest in a chinup bar for your doorway or buy one of those dip/pullup stations for $99. That's the only device that is probably worth it's weight in gold. Mixed Martial Artist
Hudson
Yup. Doesn't the name seem wrong? Ab lounge? If it were so easy to get a six-pack that all it took was 7 or 15 minutes a day we'd all have them. Besides, abs are made in the kitchen! Well, and then in the gym. But nutrition and cardio are what you need, not some rocking chair. The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move. Maddwraph
yeah, thats when i thought when he got them, he has 90 days with it, so if it doesnt work, im telling him to return it. now, by cardio, do you mean doing stuff like running? because i think my capoiera exercises(rolling on the floor kartwheels all those things cover that). im just curiuos what it means. and crunches dont help your abs? by doing them alone i mean, not witha machine.im not sure how to do hanging leg raises, my back hurts when i do those if im doing it right. and sorry, one more question, but what type of diets do you use? thanks a lot Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Hudson
Cardio is training your cardiovascular system. The best, undisputed king of cardio, is running. As for my diet, right now I am experimenting with CKD, Cyclical Ketosis Diet. The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move. But nutrition and cardio are what you need, not some rocking chair. Technically, they are correct. all it takes to get abs is 7-15 mins a day. There are alot of people that have develped abs. What they aren't addressing is that you have to burn the fat off in order for anyone to see them. Getting a six pack is easy. Making it visible, however, is not. This can be capoeira, jumping rope, stairmaster, running, etc. It's your choice. The other big part of this issue is diet. You can do all of the cardio you want, you will still have probs keeping your abs visible if you aren't eating properly. crunches help your abs. As I states tho, that's not what makes them visible. SevenStar
and in 3 months I had a "four pack". I'm still going strong, and although I can't seem to coax out the last two pack abs are genetic. Not everyone gets a "six pack". Some people only get a four. genetics will dictate how much shows and what the shape will be.
