Well yesterday was a long day for me, i was at the British Wado-Ryu Karate Union National Championships, im a bit battered and bruised, but came away with 2 trophies :)

I entered:

Mens Kata

Mens <65kg

Mens Open Weight

Mens Team

Not ashamed to say that i didnt win any of my kumite (sparring) matches, the competition was very tough, and this was my first senior tournament. I was pleased with my performance though.

I won my first round in Mens Kata with Bassai though, and got 3rd place.

Our Team also got third place in the Mens Team.

Wow first time I've seen a national wado ryu tournament in the Uk. Thanks for the videos. It's near impossible to find footage like this. Congratulations in winning your prizes. I wish you the best for the future.
